Primo Launches New Mobile Clinic

Primo leading the way in innovation

Primo Coachworks, in conjunction with the Order of Malta, has developed a new mobile clinic, based on the Fiat Ducato Chassis.  The vehicle was presented to the Turf Club by Primo SVC and the Order of Malta.

The Mobile Clinic features a side entry door on the passenger side and double doors at the rear for stretcher loading.  The vehicle also features an air suspension system, which lowers the floor to aid the loading of the stretcher.  The Clinic has been styled using an aerodynamic design, in keeping with the sleek cab design of the Ducato.

Inside, the Clinic features two treatment areas; one dedicated area for the stretcher and a second treatment area, which features a permanent bed.  A curtain divider can be used to separate the two areas, giving both patients privacy.  The clinic boasts a high level of storage, as the interior has been designed to gain maximum functionality from the operating space.  Overhead lockers and low level storage provide ample amounts of storage space, while windows on both sides of the vehicle provide plenty of natural light.  The Clinic is fully equipped with the latest in healthcare equipment, making its function similar to that of a frontline ambulance.  The vehicle is fitted with its own independent power supply, ensuring continued use of important life saving equipment while on site.  This vehicle design has many other options and capabilities and can be adapted to suit other donor vehicles.
