Primo Coachworks have completed the delivery of the new fleet of vehicles to the COPE Foundation. The COPE Foundation provides a comprehensive range of services for children and adults with an intellectual disabilty through its range of interventions and supports. The COPE Foundation is based at over 60 locations throughout Cork City and County and employs over 800 staff. The new fleet includes 7 new Renault Master wheelchair accessible minibuses and 3 new Renault Trafic wheelchair accessible minibuses. The Renault Master vehicles can accommodate 16 seated passengers and a variety of flexible seating options allows three wheelchairs to travel comfortably. The Renault Trafic vehicles are designed to seat 8 passengers. Again, a variety of seating options are open to the COPE Foundation, allowing two wheelchairs to be accommodated in the vehicle.
Prior to construction, a lengthy consultation process was undertaken with the COPE Foundation Management in order to establish the best possible seating layouts and configurations. Each vehicle conversion was built to the highest possible standards, using top quality materials and tested components, to ensure that the passengers and drivers of the vehicles will travel in the upmost comfort and safety.
Primo was delighted to be involved with the COPE Foundation and took pride in building top quality vehicles which will help provide better services with persons with disability in the Cork Region.
