PRIMO Coachworks Ltd are honoured and most grateful to have been chosen for grant aid from An Pobal through the EU Just transition Fund Progamame. This programme has enabled us to upgrade our new facility and train our Auto Electrical Team to a Level 4 Auto Electrical standard with a special emphasis put on Electrical and Hybrid Vehicles from a conversion and maintenance point of view. We currently have 3 designated bays dedicated to EV and Hybrid Vehicles conversions in our new area of the facility . These bays have state of the art tooling, charging points and also CCTV system, Safety Boxes for Keys and Fire Proof partitions between each bay. We also have an External fast charging point located close to the EV Bays but externally located for Fire Safety purposes. With the assistance of our Local Fire Authority we put in place the latest and current technology in Fire Safety equipment designated to this area in our facility.
With the assistance of this programme we have created five permanent employment positions within the Company to date. Please note: 90% of our employees would have had relatives employed in Bord na Mona/ESB in this regional area in the past few decades, therefore it is a great achievement to be creating new highly skilled positions for this local demographic area within this specialized area of manufacturing of converted vehicles.
